Onboarding Walkthrough
The first time you log in, RapidMetrics asks how you want to set up your tracking. You get three choices on one screen. Every choice ends the same way: you open a page of your funnel and see the visit show up in your dashboard.
Only the workspace owner sees this screen. Teammates you invite go straight to the dashboard.
The three choices
1. Set up with your AI assistant
Connect the AI app you already use, and it walks you through every step, checks where your workspace stands and tells you exactly where to paste things. The screen shows the AI apps that can connect today. Click Connect an AI app, then:
- Pick your AI app.
- Connect it. Copy your connector link and follow the steps shown for your app. When your app connects, a RapidMetrics page opens and asks you to log in again with your RapidMetrics email and password. That is normal. Check that it names your workspace and click Approve. The page moves on by itself once your app is connected.
- Send your first message. Start a new chat in your AI app and paste the message the page gives you. Your AI app checks your workspace and walks you through the rest, one step at a time: your funnel, your Facebook pixel and token, and your tracking script.
Your AI app never needs your passwords or tokens. Anything secret gets pasted in RapidMetrics, not in the chat. For Claude, the step-by-step guide with screenshots is Connect Claude to RapidMetrics.
2. Set it up myself
A short guided setup inside RapidMetrics. It takes about 5 minutes, and you can stop at any step and come back where you left off. The steps are below.
3. Not right now
Watch a short video from Hernan on what RapidMetrics does for you, and book a free 30-minute onboarding call with Senaid, the founder, so we set it up together. You can start setup any time from your dashboard.
Changed your mind? Every choice has a way to the others: Set it up myself instead on the AI page, Let your AI help on your dashboard, and the call button on the setup card.
The guided setup, step by step
If you choose Set it up myself, the guided setup walks you through connecting your platform, Facebook and your first funnel.
Step 1: Welcome
Under Which platform are you using?, pick Custom Website, GoHighLevel, Systeme.io, ThriveCart, ClickFunnels v2.0 or ClickFunnels Classic. Not sure? Choose Custom Website: it covers your own site, WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Shopify or anything with a head tag. If GoHighLevel is already connected to your account, it is picked for you. Then click Let's Get Started.
Step 2: Connect Your Platform
This step is only for GoHighLevel and ThriveCart. ClickFunnels, Systeme.io and custom websites skip it.
- GoHighLevel: click Connect GoHighLevel, authorize RapidMetrics and select your sub-account. You come back to the wizard automatically, and your products are synced. If it does not finish connecting, the wizard tells you why, with Try again or Connect later (you can connect it any time from Integrations).
- ThriveCart: in ThriveCart, go to Settings → API & Webhooks → API keys and copy your API key. Paste it in the wizard and click Connect, or click Connect later to do it from Integrations.
Step 3: Your Facebook Pixel
Enter your Facebook Pixel ID: the number under Events Manager, Data sources. That is all your funnel needs. Adding your access token now is recommended, because the token is what sends your sales to Facebook: open Add your access token now (recommended), paste the token, add a Label if you like, and click Save CAPI Token. You can also add it later under Integrations.
To get a token, open Facebook Events Manager, select your pixel and go to the Settings tab. Under Conversions API, click Generate Access Token. More detail: How to Connect Your Facebook Pixel & Conversion API.
Step 4: Create Your First Funnel
Enter a Funnel Name. Depending on your platform, also:
- GoHighLevel: pick your funnel under GHL Funnel.
- ClickFunnels v2.0: enter your ClickFunnels Public ID(s), separated by commas if you track more than one funnel.
- ThriveCart: tick your products under ThriveCart Product(s).
Choose your Currency and your Facebook Pixel, then click Create Funnel. The currency is sent to Facebook with your Purchase events and applies to your whole workspace.
Step 5: Install the Tracking Code
Copy the script and paste it here:
- GoHighLevel: Funnel → Settings → Body Tracking Code
- ClickFunnels v2.0: Funnel → Settings → Head
- ClickFunnels Classic: Page → Settings → Tracking Code → Body
- Systeme.io: each funnel step → Settings → Tracking → Header Code
- ThriveCart: your checkout page's Settings → Checkout → Tracking
- Custom Website: your website's
<head>section or tag manager
The script already includes your Facebook Pixel, so remove any other Meta Pixel code from those pages.
For ClickFunnels and Systeme.io, the same screen shows your Webhook URL. Copy it and add it to your platform:
- ClickFunnels v2.0: Workspace Settings → Webhooks → Add Endpoint. Select the events
contact.created,contact.updated,order.createdandorder.updated. - ClickFunnels Classic: your funnel page's Settings → Webhooks → New Webhook.
- Systeme.io: Settings → Automation Rules → Add Rule. Use the trigger New sale for sales pages or Funnel step form subscribed for opt-in pages, and the action Send webhook.
GoHighLevel needs no webhook: sales arrive through the connection from Step 2. Custom websites send sales from their own server; see Funnel Setup for Custom Websites.
Then open your funnel page in a new tab. When RapidMetrics sees the visit, the wizard shows Signal Detected! Click Continue. If nothing arrives after a minute, the wizard shows Not seeing a visit yet? with three checks: did you publish the page after pasting, open it in a new private window, and is the script in the head of the page you opened, not only on a template you have not published. Still stuck? Click Message us, or Let your AI check it to switch to your AI assistant. For screenshots of your platform, click Show me with screenshots. Can't paste it right now? Click I'll paste it later.
Step 6: Chrome Extension
Click Install from Chrome Web Store to add the RapidMetrics extension. It syncs your Facebook ad spend, impressions and clicks into your funnel reports. Then click Continue, or Skip for Now to do it later. See Installing the Extension.
Step 7: The finish
The last screen shows what is really done: your funnel, whether tracking is verified, and whether your Facebook token is added. When everything is in, it says You're all set! If something is still missing, it says Almost there and tells you what to do next. Want a guided start? Click Book my onboarding call for a free 30-minute call where we check your tracking with you. Otherwise, click Go to Dashboard.
Need a break? Click Save and finish later at the top of any step. The setup card on your dashboard takes you back to the step where you stopped, on any device.
The setup card on your dashboard
Until your setup is finished, a small Finish your setup card sits at the top of your dashboard. It shows each step with a check or a button: your funnel, the tracking script and your Facebook token (and GoHighLevel when you use it). On the right you have:
- Continue the guided setup, which shows the step you are on, for example "Step 4 of 6".
- Let your AI help, to switch to the AI assistant.
- Schedule onboarding call, to book a free call with Senaid. Once a call is booked, the card says so instead.
On other pages, a bar at the top reminds you that tracking is not live yet, with a Finish setup button. You can snooze it for the day.
The card goes away on its own the moment your tracking script records a real visit and your Facebook token is added. You do not have to mark anything as done.
