Connect Claude To RapidMetrics

Connect Claude to your RapidMetrics workspace and ask about your funnels in plain English: how last week went, which ads and traffic sources made money, why an order didn't show up, or how to finish your setup. Claude reads your RapidMetrics data to answer. It takes about a minute to connect.

What Claude can do

• Funnel results: ad spend, leads, sales, revenue and ROAS for any period.
• Sales: totals, top products, and revenue by traffic source (UTM) or by Facebook campaign, ad set and ad, counting all sales or front-end sales only (like the Ad Attribution page's "Sales counted" setting).
• Ads: spend, sales, cost per sale and ROAS for each Facebook campaign, ad set and ad, so you can see what to scale and what to stop.
• Traffic and leads: visits, unique visitors and page views, and leads per day, funnel, traffic source and ad, with cost per lead.
• Products: every product with its type and what it sold, plus the ones that look like they have the wrong type.
• Purchases: find a sale and see where the buyer came from, or look up one buyer by their exact email.
• Webhooks: what your checkout sent and what RapidMetrics did with each delivery, so you can see why an order is missing.
• Facebook events: which page views, leads and sales reached Facebook, which failed, and why.
• Account check: how this week went next to last week, and anything that needs fixing, in one answer.
• Setup help: step-by-step guidance for the tracking script, your checkout webhook, the Facebook pixel and Conversions API, ad attribution parameters and the Chrome extension, plus a check of what is and isn't working yet.

Step 1: Get your connector link

1. Go to Integrations → AI apps.
2. Click Copy next to Your connector link, or open the Claude card for these steps with your link filled in.

Allow AI connections for this workspace is on by default. If it is off, turn it back on there or in the Claude card.

Only workspace owners and admins see the switch and the link.

Step 2: Add RapidMetrics to Claude

claude.ai and Claude Desktop

1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors (older versions: Settings → Connectors), click + and choose Add custom connector.
2. Name it RapidMetrics (or "RapidMetrics - your workspace name" if you have several) and paste your connector link.
3. Leave Advanced settings empty. Click Add, then Connect.

Claude's free plan allows one custom connector.

Claude Team and Enterprise

1. An owner of your Claude organization opens Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web, pastes the connector link and clicks Add.
2. You open Customize → Connectors, find it and click Connect.

Claude Code (terminal or VS Code)

The easy way: add RapidMetrics on claude.ai or in Claude Desktop first (above). Claude Code, in the terminal or the VS Code extension, picks it up by itself when it's signed in with the same Claude account. Start a new session and it's there. A session that was already open won't see it.

Or add it to Claude Code on its own:

claude mcp add --transport http rapidmetrics YOUR_CONNECTOR_LINK

Then start Claude Code, run /mcp, pick rapidmetrics and choose Authenticate.

Step 3: Approve

1. A RapidMetrics page opens. Log in with your RapidMetrics email and password.
2. The next page names your workspace and lists what Claude will be able to read. Click Approve.

The page names the app as Claude (claude.ai). If you added it with the claude mcp add command, it says an app on this computer instead.

You're back in Claude, connected. Start a new chat, make sure the RapidMetrics connector is turned on for it, and ask away.

Disconnecting

• One app: Integrations → AI apps → Connected apps → Disconnect.
• Pause everything: turn off Allow AI connections for this workspace. Connected apps stop working until you turn it back on.
• From everywhere: changing your RapidMetrics password disconnects every app you approved, in every workspace.

Your data

When you ask Claude something, your question and the RapidMetrics data Claude reads to answer it are sent to Claude (Anthropic). When you ask about purchases, that can include buyer names and emails, and the buyer's visits: pages viewed, device and browser, IP address, and approximate country. Lists show emails masked. Approve the connection only on a Claude account you trust with this data. Never paste passwords, API keys or access tokens into the chat. RapidMetrics will never ask for them there.

Claude can also read your lead counts, your products, your Facebook ads with their results, and the events RapidMetrics sent to Facebook. If you give it a buyer's exact email, it shows that buyer's purchases, visits and Facebook events, with the phone number cut to its last four digits. If you allow changes, it can also list the people who opted in, with masked emails and the visit that brought them.

Troubleshooting

Seeing what Claude did in your workspace: click your profile icon (top right) → Logs → AI Activity.
