How to Create and Track Your Funnel

To get the most out of your data, you need to connect your sales funnels to RapidMetrics. This allows the platform to pull CRM data, track conversions, and calculate your true ROI. Here is the step-by-step process to get your funnel live and tracking.

Step 1: Connect Your Platform

Before adding a specific funnel, ensure your CRM or landing page builder is integrated. RapidMetrics currently supports several major platforms with more on the way.

  • Go to Integrations in the left sidebar.
  • Add your Facebook pixel under Facebook CAPI. Every funnel needs at least one pixel (see How to Connect Your Facebook Pixel & Conversion API).
  • If you use GoHighLevel or ThriveCart, connect it there too. ClickFunnels and Systeme.io have nothing to connect here: they send sales to a webhook URL you copy from the funnel after you create it. Custom websites send sales with the API key under Custom / API.

Step 2: Add a New Funnel

  1. Navigate to Funnels on the left sidebar.
  2. Click the New Funnel button.
  3. Select your integrated platform (e.g., GoHighLevel).
  4. Enter your Funnel Name (e.g., "Test Funnel") and tick your pixel under Pixel ID(s).
  5. For GoHighLevel, choose your funnel in the GoHighLevel Funnel dropdown. (ClickFunnels v2.0 asks for ClickFunnels Public ID(s) and ThriveCart for ThriveCart Product(s).) Then click Confirm.

Step 3: Install the Tracking Script

Once the funnel is added, you must install the script so RapidMetrics can see your traffic and process data.

  1. Click the code icon (Get Script) next to your new funnel.
  2. Copy the provided code snippet.
  3. On GoHighLevel, paste it once into Funnel → Settings → Body Tracking Code, and it runs on every page of that funnel. For other platforms, see Installing the Tracking Code.
💡 High-level Tip: RapidMetrics pulls buyer and lead data directly from your CRM, so your numbers stay accurate even if a user switches devices.

Understanding Your Analytics

Once your funnel is live and traffic is hitting your pages, open the funnel (click its name under Funnels, or its chart icon, Analytics) to see:

  • Financial Overviews: Track total spend, front-end revenue, profit, and ROAS in real-time. Ad spend is synced from Facebook by the RapidMetrics Chrome extension.
  • Trend Analysis: Compare ad spend against revenue trends to see your most profitable days.
  • Revenue Breakdown: See exactly which products, upsells, or order bumps are driving your growth.
