Connect ChatGPT To RapidMetrics

Use your RapidMetrics numbers inside ChatGPT. You add RapidMetrics as a custom app in ChatGPT's Developer mode, sign in once, and then ask about your funnels in any chat. It works on chatgpt.com in a browser. The ChatGPT phone app can't use custom apps.

If a step doesn't match what you see, or something doesn't work, tell us which step in Help & Support.

Before you start

  • You need ChatGPT Plus or higher: Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu. Free and Go can't add custom apps. On Business, only workspace owners and admins can. On Enterprise and Edu, an admin must give you access.
  • You need chatgpt.com in a browser, with Developer mode turned on (Step 1).
  • OpenAI describes making changes through custom apps as a beta for Business and Enterprise. On Plus and Pro, ChatGPT may only be able to read.
  • You need to be an owner or admin of the RapidMetrics workspace, with Allow AI connections turned on (Integrations → AI apps).

Step 1: Turn on Developer mode

  1. On chatgpt.com, click your name (bottom left) → Settings → Security and login.
  2. Turn on Developer mode. ChatGPT labels it "Elevated risk". That's its standard label for any app ChatGPT hasn't reviewed itself.

On Business: go to Workspace settings → Apps → Create, which turns it on for you. On Enterprise and Edu, once an admin has given you access: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode.

Step 2: Add RapidMetrics

  1. Open chatgpt.com/plugins and click +.
  2. Name it RapidMetrics (or "RapidMetrics - your workspace name" if you have several).
  3. Under Connection, paste your connector link from RapidMetrics (Integrations → AI apps → ChatGPT). Choose OAuth and leave Client ID and Client secret empty.
  4. Click Create.

Step 3: Log in and approve

  1. A RapidMetrics page opens and names the app as ChatGPT (chatgpt.com). Log in with your RapidMetrics email and password.
  2. Check the workspace name and click Approve.
  3. Back in ChatGPT, wait while it loads the RapidMetrics tools. RapidMetrics then shows under Drafts with a Dev label.

Using it

In a new chat, click + → Developer mode → RapidMetrics, or type @ and pick it. The choice applies to one message, so pick it again when a follow-up needs fresh numbers. ChatGPT asks you to confirm any change before it runs.
