Connect Gemini To RapidMetrics

Add RapidMetrics to Gemini on the web, then ask about your funnels on the web or in the Gemini phone app.

If a step doesn't match what you see, or something doesn't work, tell us which step in Help & Support.

Who can use it

Google currently allows custom apps in Gemini only if you are:

  • 18 or over and in the US
  • signed in with a personal Google account (not a work or school account)
  • using Gemini in English
  • keeping Keep Activity turned on

Google doesn't say whether you need a paid plan. It may take Google AI Pro or Ultra. If you don't see "Custom apps", your account doesn't have it yet.

You also need to be an owner or admin of the RapidMetrics workspace, with Allow AI connections turned on (Integrations → AI apps).

Step 1: Add RapidMetrics

  1. On a computer, open gemini.google.com → Settings (bottom left) → Connected Apps, or go straight to gemini.google.com/apps. If Connected Apps isn't there, click Personal Intelligence first.
  2. Under Custom apps, find the Add a custom app link to get started box. If you already have a custom app connected, click Add a custom app instead.
  3. Paste your connector link from RapidMetrics (Integrations → AI apps → Gemini). Leave Advanced features closed: RapidMetrics needs no client ID or secret.
  4. Click Next.

Step 2: Log in and approve

  1. A RapidMetrics page opens and names the app as Gemini or another Google service (oauth-redirect.googleusercontent.com). That's Google's sign-in address, and other Google services use it too, so RapidMetrics can't tell them apart. If you just clicked Next in Gemini, this is expected. Log in with your RapidMetrics email and password.
  2. Check the workspace name and click Approve.

Using it

Type @ and pick RapidMetrics, then ask your question. It also works in the Gemini phone app. Gemini asks you to confirm any change before it's made.

Removing it

In RapidMetrics: Integrations → AI apps → Connected apps → Disconnect. That's the step that ends its access. Then remove it in Gemini too: Settings → Connected Apps → RapidMetrics → More details → Disconnect.
