Managing Collaborator Roles
Everyone in a workspace has one of three roles: Owner, Admin or Member. You choose Admin or Member when you invite someone. Every role can see the workspace's reports, funnels, sales and contacts.
What Each Role Can Do
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything. Only the owner can open Manage Billing, change someone's role and add new workspaces. |
| Admin | Everything except billing, role changes and adding workspaces. Admins can invite and remove teammates, change Settings, create, edit and delete funnels, add or change Facebook CAPI tokens, see the workspace API key and connect AI apps. |
| Member | See the workspace's reports, funnels, sales and contacts, and add or edit products, contacts and daily ad spend. Members can't invite or remove teammates, change Settings, create or delete funnels, change a funnel's pixels, platform or platform IDs, switch a funnel on or off, add Facebook CAPI tokens, see the API key or connect AI apps. They can still rename a funnel. |
💡 If you're a member and RapidMetrics won't let you do something, ask the workspace owner or an admin to do it. Only the owner can make you an admin.
Changing Someone's Role
Only the workspace owner can do this.
- Click your profile icon (top right) → Collaborators.
- In the person's Role column, pick Member or Admin.
- Click Change role to confirm.
The owner's role can't be changed, and the owner can't be removed. To hand ownership to someone else, the owner contacts RapidMetrics support.
Removing a Collaborator
The owner and admins can remove anyone except the owner.
- Click your profile icon (top right) → Collaborators.
- On the person's row, click the trash icon (Remove member).
- Tick I understand that this action is permanent and click Remove.
Access is revoked immediately. To leave a workspace yourself, see Switching Between Workspaces.
